Description
It was narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Brushing is an act that purifies the mouth and pleases the Almighty
سیدنا ابو بکر صدیقؓ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌ نے فرمایا: مسواک کرنا منہ کو پاک کرنے والا اور ربّ تعالیٰ کو راضی کرنے والا عمل ہے۔
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If I was not in danger of putting hardship on my ummah, I would have ordered them to rub their teeth with every prayer and Isha prayer at the first of the night. The reason for this is that when the first third of the night passes, Allah descends to the sky of the world and stays there until dawn, during which time a narrator keeps saying: Is there a questioner to be granted, is there a supplicant to be answered, is there a sick person to be healed and is a sinner to be forgiven. Be forgiven
سیدنا علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌ نے فرمایا: اگر مجھے اپنی امت پر مشقت ڈالنے کا خطرہ نہ ہوتا تو میں ان کو ہر نماز کے ساتھ مسواک کرنے کا حکم دیتا اور نمازِ عشا کو رات کے پہلے ایک تہائی حصے تک مؤخر کر دیتا ، اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ جب رات کا پہلا ایک تہائی گزرتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ آسمانِ دنیا پر نزول فرماتے ہیں اور طلوع فجر تک یہیں رہتے ہیں، اس دورانیے میں ایک کہنے والا یہ کہتا رہتا ہے: کیا کوئی سوال کرنے والا ہے کہ اس کو دیا جائے، کیا کوئی دعا کرنے والا ہے کہ اس کو جواب دیا جائے، کیا شفا طلب کرنے والا کوئی مریض ہے کہ اس کو شفا دے دی جائے اور بخشش طلب کرنے والا کوئی گنہگار ہے کہ اس کو بخش دیا جائے۔
